Australia! Yay!

Hello! Today I will talk about the time I went to Australia.

It was when I was living in New Zealand. At that time, I was living with my mom, Chloe(sister), my aunt, and Jake(cousin). We went on a vacation to Australia. First, we went to a hotel. Our rooms were great(We had two). It was very big and cozy. We stayed there for like 3 days or so.

And then, we went to a zoo. I was very surprised because what I had pictured as a zoo was small animals in a cage. Some people might say, “Well, duh! Because all zoos are like that!” However, if you think like that, You are absolutely WRONG. This zoo had tons of animals OUT of their cage, roaming around! While I was looking around very excited, I happened to notice one tree. When I went closer, my mind was going, “OH. MY GOD!!!” It was a live Koala, sleeping on a tree. I think we were very lucky, because researchers say that Koalas are awake for just 2~4 hours a day. But while I was looking at it, the Koala woke up, yawned, and stared at us. I later bought a toy Koala from there. I named It Cola. Oh no. I didn’t even get to the main thing yet, but it’s already over 200! Uhh… I’ll just keep on writing^^

Finally, we went on a cruise. It was awesome, with a huge water park and Zip lines and a lot of other cool things. I made friends with a girl that was in the next room as ours. Her name was Lily, and was the same age as me. We soon became close friends, and played a lot together. The most exciting thing was, when I was eating breakfast in a Buffet, I saw a group of dolphins swimming across. It was just great. At that time, I had a small toy squirrel that I really cherished. It was named Darami. When we were going to leave the Cruise, I couldn’t find him. I kept on asking the Lost and Found Center if they saw a “stuffed animal shaped like a squirrel”, but nobody saw him. I was acting so sad, that my mom bought me another toy squirrel similar to Darami. I named it “Darami Junior”. It is still on my bed, with Cola.
