Brain Wave Robots

Today, I went to my Science Academy. Well, you guys might think that it is boring, but today, it was super fun. We did something about Brain Wave robots. You might wonder what a Brain wave is, just type it in the translator. I am not sure if I did it right. Anyways, today, I am going to introduce you to this cool robot.

It was the last activity at that academy. The teacher said that we are going to use this spider robot for the last experiment of the class. He said where this headband is, and it has a weird box in the side of it, and there is a nail attached to the headband.

My teacher said if we concentrate, the spider will move quickly. He said that a particular brain wave called Alpha Wave (Type this in translator too) will come out if I concentrate. Then, the headband recognizes the Alpha wave, so the spiders move. At first, I didn’t believe this. All this spider robot had was a motor, and a sensor. (Maybe a battery, I don’t know. But if there is a battery, I guess the headband sends an alert to the robot, and the robot activates). So, I gave it a go. I wore my headband, and my teacher connected the bluetooth. Then, he said “Now, concentrate. Be quiet.”. At first, the spider stayed still because I probably was thinking of different things at once. However, I put those away for a second, and only thought of the spider. My mind was saying “Robot Spider, robot spider, robot spider”. Then, it really moved! Believe it or not, the spider (It is hard to type the robot part) raised one of it’s legs very slowly. Then, all legs began to move, and soon, the spider was literally running (crawling) away, to the end of the desk. The teacher needed to grab the spider, and put it back. While the spider was on the teacher’s hand, it’s leg still moved, very fastly. Then, I did an experiment. I thought of something else, not concentrating on one thing. Then, the spider stopped. When I thought of that spider again, it moved very fastly again. I was so surprised!!!!!

After the class, I asked my parents if they sell it on the internet, and they selled it! It was from another country. I am thinking now of whether to buy it or not. I mean, hey, wouldn’t it be fun if you know whether your mom is concentrating on watching the TV or not? What do you think? Please leave a comment below!
