Cookie Story

Ok. This is a Cookie story or kind of a rabbit fact. This is the second time I’m writing this, because I accidentally wrote the whole thing on the Wix thing, and not on the google docs, and it all got erased, so I am VERY frustrated. Anyways, I figured out that there is a rabbit leash thing, and people can take their rabbits for a walk. So, I asked my dad if we can do those stuff, too, and he said that it is possible, but we have to have him for at least 2 years, and Cookie has to like it. Also, taking a rabbit out for a walk is a lot difficult than taking a dog, cat, or etc. Here’s the reason why.

Rabbits don’t have the soft and puffy(?) thing on their paws.

<-- this stuff. This means that rabbits can’t walk on hard ground, and even walking on the floor of my house was bad for Cookie’s paws when he was little, so we had to lay mats and stuff. (now it’s ok) Anyways, Their paws are very sensitive, so it will be very hard to find the perfect ground for him. For example, the grass part in the Olympic Park, or the asphalt part on a playground is ok, but there is a problem that there are too many people, and other animals like dogs might attack him. And even though we do find a place that has no people, and has soft ground, it also has to be clean, because, well. Of course, they don’t have shoes, and they lick themselves to be clean (more details in the next blog!), so it would be like eating the stuff that was on the ground.

Like this, taking a rabbit for a walk is much more difficult than you think, and the rules that we should follow are very strict. Also, Cookie knows ‘going out’ as ‘going to the vet’, because the only time he had gone out is when he had to go to the vet (not because he was hurt or something, just for Health screenings), so I don’t think he will go out, and to tell the truth, there is no such thing as a ‘rabbit leash’, and it’s just a small leash for dogs, but still, I would really like to take Cookie out for a walk.

(I was gonna write 2 reasons, but I think this will be enough, and I’m pretty frustrated because of Wix's hating of me, so it will be a to-be-continued for the next blog kk)
