The day before yesterday, I felt really bad for Emily because she didn't exactly have the definition of a good day on her first day in our class. And I have been thinking about why, and now I have the answer.
When class started, Mr. P said that babies are disgusting and sang a song. He also talked about diapers and how babies 'use' them. I really didn't want to hear all that, but unfortunately that wasn't my choice. And then I remembered Emily. She was called 'Lucy' twice on her first day and she heard about diapers, too. That's when I realized we shouldn't be talking about this anymore.
We could be talking about smarter things like homework, novel, spongebob, drawings, Rachel's drawings, and patrick and stuff. We could be, we could really be talking about other stuff. I would have understood it at least a bit if t weren't for Emily who might have been traumatized by her first day in our class. Why did we reall have to be talking about diapers her first day? I don't know what she could be thinking of us right now- I was too embarrassed to ask her. But she seemed to be in a good mood on breaks. Maybe she was used to this kind of stuff on her previous class.
