Books are perhaps the most important thing in the world. It is because it can help people in many ways in people’s lives.
People are living in a digital world right now. People can search on the internet to find out what people want to see, and people do shopping by digital devices, too. Like this, the word ‘digital’ affects the society very much. The use of books is getting smaller and smaller. People think, ‘perhaps someday, there won’t be any more books?’.
But there are some things that a digital device(e-book) cannot, and what a book can. For example, “according to scientists, the act of turning pages while reading creates an 'index' in the brain, mapping information in a book to a particular page. By mapping the information this way, our brains are able to retain more of what we read”. This means that the human brain actually likes to read physical books more than e-books.
People get comfortable when they read, and so does a person named Seoin. Books can become a medicine to stress and health problems. Books can make people calm, and thereby make people happier and joyful than before.
Books are the essential resource for humans. If books disappear, humans disappear. If books are appreciated, so do humans.
