Hanoi Tower

Hanoi Tower

Do any of you guys know what Hanoi tower is? It’s kind of a puzzle tower with rings, AHH I don’t know how to explain it!

Never mind I’ll just show a picture; you will know what it is.

Okay here it is. It is moving the rings to another side. Do you think it’s easy? Well nope. The problem is, you can move only one thing at once. Still easy? Well, you can’t put a bigger ring on top of a small ring. For example, from the picture I showed you, you can’t put green on top of yellow. But you can put yellow on top of green. That’s the hard thing. Now I will explain how to do it.

Let’s say we need to move yellow, orange, and red to 1 to 3. It will look like this.

Then, to get yellow to 3, we need to move orange. But to where? To 2. Then, we need to move red too. To get orange to 2, we need to get red to 3. Then, move orange to 2. Then, we can put yellow in 3 by putting red on top of orange. Then, move yellow to 3 and to move orange on top of yellow, we need to move red to 1 since 1 has nothing in it. So, we move red and put orange on top of yellow. Then, put red from 1 on top of orange! It should look probably something like this… You can do the other stuff using the same way. Hope you enjoyed my blog!
