Many people think that milk is good for human’s body for many reasons. That is a true fact. But recently, research showed that there are also some negative side effects, too. A benefit for drinking milk is that it makes people’s bones healthy. A material called calcium that is contained in milk can make humans’ bones stronger. Also, milk can prevent diabetes. Diabetes is fatal for humans’ body because they can increase risks for heart disease, stroke, and kidney disease. Milk can prevent these diseases because they have proteins, which improves peoples’ blood sugar balance. The negative effects are that first, it can worsen eczemas. Eczemas are red things that are on peoples’ skin. Reasons why eczemas exist are because of sweating, too much stress, food allergies ...etc. Second, drinking three or more cups of milk can cause bone fractures. Small amount of milk can make peoples’ bones healthier, but too much can cause their bones to fracture. Third, excess calcium from milk may increase the risk of prostate cancer. Also, milk sugars may be linked to a slightly higher risk of ovarian cancer. So, milk has all good and bad effects for humans. Eating an average of one cup would be enough for people to block some bad side effects and at the same time, get the good effects.
