Does everyone know that I went to Jeju island last week and last- last week? Well if you don’t know, I’m telling you right now. I did go to Jeju island last week and last- last week. :)
Our family was so excited~ It was because our family is kind of like a ‘we-can’t-live-without-vacations family’, so there after COVID-19 started, my parents and I were in kind of a ‘I-WANT-TO-GO-TO-VACATION!!!!!!!!’ mood.
We went to Halla Mountain, Sung-san-il-chul-bong. Everything was great! Actually, it wasn’t very great. I have a lot of reasons.
Isn’t Halla mountain supposed to be really a ‘green mountain’ and really beautiful? Well, it was Atlanta. Sooooo cold!!!! I thought our family would freeze, because we didn’t prepare a lot of clothes, as we thought the weather was really hot. My parents were really surprised because they had climbed Halla Mountain before I was born, and it was really good. Well, too bad. It’s a frozen mountain.
I was also confused that when Eugene climbed Halla Mountain(Eugene went to Jeju, too. I was 4/30~5/6 and Eugene was 5/2~⅚) it was really normal!
Sung-san-il-chul-bong limited the amount of people coming one day, and it was full when we went, so we couldn’t climb it. We just took pictures from far away.
Our family went to play golf. I don’t exactly hate golf, but it’s just too exhausting when I have to carry my golf bag all the way to the airport and all the way back to our house and have to carry it to the golfing place(what’s its name in english?).
We had to move a lot. There are two types of ways to go on a vacation. First, it’s in the hotel, swimming and sleeping and stuff. NOT walking around taking pictures. The second way is to go taking pictures and make your leg wail of pain. I like the fist way, which we always do when we go to Singapore. Me and my dad LOVE Singapore because we both like the first way of going on vacations. Of course, when we first went to Singapore when I was I-don’t-know-the-age-but-it-was-really-young, we took pictures and walked around and made our legs get angry. But afterward, we had already gone to every place to visit, so the only thing we could ever do was to swim in the pool and rest in the hotel and stuff. Just in case you didn’t realize, my mom loves the second way of going to vacations. ANYWAYS, where was I? Oh yeah. So when we went to Jeju island recently, we did the way my mom loves. Boo hoo. Hope that when we go to Jeju again, we can rest in peace(R.I.P.??? Absolutely not!).
We went to so many places one day, so I got confused that I had been in Jeju for like 1 month. For example, one day, we went to eat somewhere and went to Jeju Olle for like 2 hours and went to a cafe for 1 hour and walked again for 3 hours and went to eat lunch and went to 2 Jeju Oreums and ate dinner, I thought that Jeju Olle was one day, eating was one day, Oreum was one day when we finally finished and went to bed.
Anyways, these were some of the bits of our family’s vacation! So sad that Eugene can’t tell us about her trip to Jeju island. There are pictures below of our vacation!
P.S. I got really sun-burned.
