It was last Friday. Mrs.Kim(my teacher) had gave students an assignment: Group project about endangered species, and making an UCC with it(although I thought that this is quite difficult for us). We should send it to Mrs. Kim's email until Wednesday. My teammates, Melody Lee, Eric Yoon, and Leo Kang shared our gmail address, phone number, and schedules. We decided to research together at Saturday 11 a.m. at the study cafe.
Next day, Melody and I arrived at the study cafe. Eric and Leo were already there. We took out our laptops, and discussed what species will we research about. Bengal tigers, sea turtles, coral reefs... Eventually, we made up our decision : Giant pandas in China.
There are many endangered species in Asia, but especially giant pandas are in a big problem. Driven nearly to extinction by habitat loss and poaching, these elusive and secretive mammals are among the rarest in the world, with only an estimated 1,800 remaining in the wild. The low reproductive rate of giant pandas makes them more vulnerable to threats and extinction. We found out that the animal protecting organizations are trying their best to stop deforestations and save the pandas. Also, their had been some projects to breed giant pandas, and these lead turned out to be successful.
After some research like this, we analysis the information into graphs and bullet points. We made the video showing the PPTs that we prepared, with Eric's smartphone that has REALLY high photo-quality. I wrote the script for everyone, Melody asked the employee if we can use the screen in the room, and Leo fixed some typing errors and phrases in PPT better. Few practices later, we took the video for like at least seven times, and at last with the multiple clicks of "edit", we finally sent the video to Mrs.Kim.
On our way home, Melody bought Tteokbokkis for everyone. It was both fun, and very "informative" time^^
