I get what Rachel said, “I HATE SHUTTLE RUNS!!!”.
I get it. I really get it.
So basically, for people who do not know what a shuttle run is, it’s like running one place to another over and over again. Like this:
There is a person(in audio) saying, “Level 1. Bleep! 1. Bleep! 2. Bleep! 3. Bleep! 4. Level 2. Bleep! 5. Bleep! 4.
…
Level 9. Bleep! 73. Bleep! 74..”
Basically, whenever the voice says, “bleep!”, you have to run to the other side. So-
“Bleep! One.” You run to the other side, and wait until there is the next bleep.
“Bleep! Two.” You run to where you first were. You wait again until there is a bleep again.
You have to run A LOT.
Do you think it’s easy? It’s not. Because as the level goes up, the time becomes faster. So you just went to the other side and are panting when there is another bleep and so on.
Thanks to my tennis practice and other sports practice, I was the person to run the most in our class(including boys). I ran 76 times. After the 76 running thingy, I was so tired that I almost couldn’t walk, which was terrible. You know, I went to Peai and all that after this.
Shuttle runs are terrible. I told Eugene this because I met her while going to school(p.s. Eugene and I live in the same apartment). She was like, “OMG I’m dead!” because her class didn’t do the shuttle run yet.
I’m glad because when I did like the “flexibility test” thingy, I was 0 centimeters. Zero. ZERO. Which made me really embarrassed, but thankfully for this one, I wasn’t so bad at it.
I did maximum of 97 runs! But ours isn't 15 ms, it's 20ms!!!!
(P.S. My partner did only 59!)
