What memories had taught me

Subtitle: What projects had taught me.

There were many projects here at PEAI, a lot of them. There were actually so many of them from 2nd grade that I can’t even list them out anymore. However, today I will introduce some impressive projects for me.

Olympic Projects

Many of you might think that I just made this up because it was the most recent project that we did. (However, the Opposition’s argument that it was the most recent one is totally wrong. Just Kidding. Okay, done with the debate stuff. I’m so obsessed with debate, I love debate!) Anyways, the Olympics project helped me to learn a lot about the Olympics. The Olympic Teaching and the Bid Project too. We got to make our mascots and logos and maps and venues. Now I knew how hard it was to host the Olympics. It was quite fun trying to make the city host the Olympics, and pretty much, I got to learn a lot about Singapore. (+Anna Our team, Seoin, Me, Lauren, Anne did the hosting city as Singapore while doing the launch bid). Also, I realized that especially when in English class at school, we were once learning about Singapore and its flag and stuff. Because we researched a lot because we had worked a lot (maybe too much that I accidentally totally forgot to do TWW Homework but I actually didn’t Ok this is also Just Kidding)

Like what the flag symbolizes, The city’s symbol, the size of the city, the president, the first gold medalist, Joseph Schooling, and a lot more. It was the toughest when we had to squeeze our 10-minute-long speech into 5 minutes. I now can understand when Mr. Yong in 3rd grade said that “You will see 5 minutes as too short when you are older”. That makes a lot more sense. We had to speak super-duper fast, like when I was in 2nd or 3rd grade.

3rd Grade-Parallel Tales

Parallel Tales… 3rd grade, it was a long time ago. We made an actual book and we bought it at PEAI. This one was the most interesting one for me in 3rd grade because it was fun to read the stories that 2nd-grade students and our 3rd-grade students had made. (I proudly state that I have read all the stories in Parallel Tales).

2nd Grade- Social Studies Money Giving game

So this, a lot of you don’t know, and maybe Seoin or Hailey can’t even remember this. This wasn’t a project, I’d say activity in class. So there was Bella JUNG, Lily HWANG, Hailey CHANG, Seoin LIM, Rachel KIM, and Ivie KIM. So the majority last names, me and Ivie, got to like giving out money to education and the citizens and more. It was fun, especially when the citizens (Bella, Hailey, Lily, Seoin) were like banging on the desk to give more and more and more and more money.

2nd Grade- Monster Book of Monsters.

So this was the project that I remember because I didn’t actually participate. So it was almost my first month at PEAI. I was in JT2 by the way, not in JT1 where Hailey and Seoin were. And one day, when we were designing something about Stuart Little, I got partners with a boy called Johnny Lee. So I was the only girl in that class. There was Johnny Lee, Klaus Kang, and Aiden Jung and I think Minjae Cho. And Johnny said like “I want to be partners with a boy”. So then, I hated that class, like if it was forever! And then I had some class at the time I used to have PEAI. That’s why I went to JT1 for a makeup class. That’s when I saw the amazing light of 5 girls in the class. So then they said to come to this class and I did. Long story short, I was doing a project with Minjae and I moved to another class so I didn’t do the project. THE END.

4th Grade- Wormhole News

This was also a great opportunity to learn about the middle ages, hang out with some of my close friends, and yadiyadiyada. (Following Mr. Patrick right there). The Middle Ages was a big development and yadiyadiyada. (Yadiyadiyada is kind of funny).

5th Grade- Teacher’s day Surprise.

Okay, so this is 1000000% NOT A PROJECT. So Teacher’s day was on 5/15, a Saturday. So we, in the Chats for PT1 File, had a discussion sort of thing like a secret and funny one-about the surprise party. So we went to PEAI at 2:20 then. We taped the cards and the garenda on the walls and we put presents and personal cards on the table. It was a great experience, which took us to responsibility and great memories.

Everyone’s Birthdays

Birthdays are actually a big part of our class, we prepare presents and a lot more like cards and online parties and stuff. So on the teacher’s day’s party thing, Seoin and Sophia and Violet and Emily brought me stuff whom they urged me to open it at home but I actually opened it in the car (TYSM!!!!!!) And this was a great experience, caring for other’s birthdays and stuff. (BTW, For Sophia and Emily and Lauren and Anne who couldn’t get presents because of Covid-19 problems I am looking forward to giving you presents next year! Clap Clap Clap)

And Anna Song and also Mr. Patrick, if you want to get presents, please tell me your birthday in the Comment!

+Daniel and Anna Kim, If we can meet, I will give you presents!!!!

Oh and forgot to mention, Anna Kim, thank you for sending me a digital card through canva on my birthday. TYSM!!!!

Anyways, I'd like to thank everybody in this class and everyone who had been teaching me previously or had been in the same class with me previously for great memories. Bye~~~

Memories taught me that

the drinks bring back the drunk driving

not the memories

And now I have to add a contrast transition...
