Where are all the students?

I know I hadn’t told you guys that I am going to a Korean history academy. The truth is, I have. The academy is in a grey building, and you need to go to the elevator to go to the academy. However, because of covid - 19, we usually do zoom for the class. It’s a lot easier, I think, because the teacher can just push the button “Share screen” in zoom to show Powerpoints. However, this is not the point. A really weird thing happened last class.

So, this was what happened. It was morning, and we needed to tell if we are going to attend the class offline or online. However, when I was lifting my phone, my mom said “Daniel, there are lots of people not able to attend the class”. So, I opened that kakaotalk page, and she was right. Almost half of the students were saying “--- can’t attend class today because there is a test today”. However, I didn’t have a test that day, so I was so confused. However, my mom had an answer to my confused look. “According to my information, today is a test day for a very famous math academy”. That math academy wasn’t one of my future or present academies, so I guess everybody is going for that academy. When it was time for me to go in zoom, I clicked “Enter zoom”. When I entered the zoom, usually, there were lots of kids talking and laughing, and the principle of that academy always said “Hello, how’s the weather there?”. However, that day was different. I was the only student at first. I waited, and 4 people came. The principal of the academy usually does almost all of the class. However, that day, another teacher did the class. I have seen that teacher in the zoom many times, because she was a small teacher. I was so surprised. However, the more surprising event is this: There are five students in the zoom including me, which is a small number. However, two students who are siblings, said that they needed to go at three because of a test. Then, five minus two equals three, which is a very-very-ultra small number. So this was my experience about a very small class.
