7 Years on an Island

Hi guys~ I'm Chaewon. This week, I read a book called < 7 Years on an Island >. Have you guys ever thought of becoming a sailor? Leave your house for a while and go on a voyage? Well, that's what this kid named David did. At first, when he told his parents that he wanted to be a sailor, his parents got really mad. A sailor is a dangerous job. Henry used to have two older brothers. But one of them left the house and never came back. The other one had an unknown sickness and had died. That is why David's parents adored him. But they soon let him go. A few hours after the ship left the dock, they met a very big storm, and the ship was hit hardly by the waves. David flew out of the ship and fainted. When he woke up, he was in an island, all alone. Everyone else who were on that ship with him had not survived. There, David met a monkey and named it Henry. Although Henry was a monkey, the two became very close friends. Together, they built a house, found water and food, and hunted. Seven years past after that. David decided to leave the island and go back to where he lived. Of course, he was bringing Henry with him. They were rescued and went home safely.
