A single shard

Hi guys. I am yoochan and I read this book called 'the single shard' . It happens in Korea, and is about this orphan boy called tree ear working for a famous potter named Min. Tree ear's desire is to make a pot. One day, the royal king inspects Min's work. He likes it, but Min didn't make the pot in time. So, tree ear deliver's the pot Min had made. However, he meets bandits. They break the pot and pretty much everything else. 

However, without giving up, Tree ear gives one of the broken shards to the king, who loves it, even though it is broken. When tree ear gets back to his home, he finds that crain man, the person who had looked after him all these years, dead. So, tree ear gets to live with Min, and finally makes a pot. This book was a little bit sad for me because crain man was dead, but I still loved the whole story.
