Hello, this is Greene. Recently, I read a book called A Wrinkle in Time. This book is about Meg Murry, Charles Wallace and Calvin trying to save Meg’s father.
Meg and Charles Wallace are siblings and their parents are very famous scientists. Their father was experimenting with the fifth dimension of time travel when he mysteriously disappears. The fifth dimension, by the way, is a tesseract. A straight line isn’t the shortest distance between two points. You can use a tesseract to travel through time and space. Mr. Murry was doing that when he disappeared.
With the help of Mrs. Whatsit, Mrs. Which and Mrs. Who, they find out about the Black Thing, which is evilness. They are all fighting the Black Thing. To find their father, they had to go to Camazotz. Camazotz is a planet where IT is controlling everything and everybody is alike and definitely not equal.
Calvin, Meg and Charles are able to save Meg’s father, but IT gets Charles Wallace. They had to leave without him. They landed on a planet with furry, tall beasts with lots of tentacles. Meg had gotten hurt during the journey, and the beasts cured her.
Meg was very upset about leaving Charles. So she decided to go back to Camazotz to save him. The only thing that she had that IT didn’t was love. With her love towards Charles Wallace, she saved him and went back home with Calvin, her Father and Charles Wallace.
This book wasn’t that funny, but it was very interesting and I liked it. I would have known right away that the answer was love. I would also like to read all the three sequels that comes after A Wrinkle in Time.
