Hi, my name is Lucas and I watched a video called 'BBC Blue Planet II'. This video has a lot of facts about marine life.
First, there is the tuskfish which I think it is one of the most clever species in the ocean. It gets a clam (food source) and slams the clam into a rock to rip it open.
Then, there's a giant trivalis (it's a fish!)which goes to the lagoon to eat turn (it's a bird!) chicks unlucky enough to fall down to the lagoon in their presence. They have a very smart brain that caculates the speed and the altitude of the bird to catch.
Next, there's false killer whales, a very close relative of the killer whales. They interpret the sound made by the bottlenose dolphins and chases them. But, the false killers basically speaks by clicking to them and recruits the dolphins to move with them.
Also, there's a fish named cobodye. When a female cobodye reaches a particular body size, it goes on to a change. After a few months, the female changes its gender to a male. When a male meets the other male who rules the females, they go on a fight until a cobodye rips the other cobodye's chin The winner gets to rule the female cobodyes in his territory until the other male show up.
Finally, there's orcas (aka killer whales) which hunts a ton of herrings by chasing down them to a place then, stunning it with a massive tail slap. The noise made from the orcas attracted the humpback whales to eat herrings too.
So guys, that's it for my blog. I hope you learned a lot for the marine life.
