Hi, I’m Maureen. Today I read a book called Cinderella. It is about a girl named Ella. She lived with her mother and her father. But her mother died when she was young. Her father was a wealthy merchant. So he got a new wife. And Ella got a stepmother and two stepsisters. Her stepmother and stepsisters were not kind to her. So when Ella’s father died, her stepmother took over and made Ella her servant.
Ella was very sad about the loss of her mother and her father. So she ran away to the forest with her horse. In the forest, she met a prince, even though she did not realize that he was a prince.
The prince was called prince Charming and he opened a ball for everyone to find the mysterious girl he met in the forest, Ella. Ella went to this ball with the help of her fairy godmother. And after the ball, she went back home before her stepmother and her stepsisters came home. But she left her glass slipper at the palace. Prince Charming found her lost glass slipper, and found Ella, the true owner of the glass slipper. Then Prince Charming and Ella got married. Her stepmother and stepsisters could have been punished, but Ella was too nice for that and let them live at her house.
This book was very interesting and I liked it a lot. If I were Ella, I would have punished my stepmother and stepsisters.
