As the city of ember book slowly goes to the end part, it contains a lot of action. As I was reading the city of Ember for homework, I thought about the author's writing quality. I think that the author's writing quality was better than the black pearl. The book made me keep want to read. I was supposed to read to chapter 15, but I read to chapter 17. The action was somewhat similar with the lord of the ring. I thought that this was similar with the 1987 protest. The mayor said to not believe any words that Lina and Doon said. I think that this is very annoying. If he tricked all the citizens of Ender, he should get the correct punishment that he should get like going to the prison room. I was very angry when I knew that the mayor had tons of light bulbs stacked on his desk and lots of food including peaches and asparagus. These items was disappeared to the people who live in Ender, but not to the mayor. As I said, he had tons of food stacked on his desk! I think that this book is fun than the black pearl and the Egypt game. I is very fun.
