Hi, this is Greene. I read a book called Dear Hound. When I was in second grade, I read this book at my English academy I was supposed to return it, but I forgot. Now I still have this book, and even though I regret it a little, I don’t think they will come after me now, and I think I’m safe. But when I was younger, I lived in fear of getting arrested for stealing a book.
This book is about a deerhound called Alfie and his owner Charlie. One day, Charlie leaves Alfie with a dog sitter, and Alfie runs away to a nearby forest. Charlie and his mother are very desperate to find Alfie, but it wasn’t easy. The forest was huge, and Alfie might not be in the forest. Alfie was alone in the forest, and he was very afraid. In the forest he met Fixit and Sunset, two foxes that were eager to help him.
He is able to survive in the forest with the help of the foxes, but they decide that they should let Alfie go back to Charlie. But Alfie is kidnapped by people who are trying to go lamping. Alfie pretends to be obedient, but he runs away again, but he gets shot in the leg. He meets Fixit and Sunset again. The foxes help Alfie again, and this time Alfie is able to go back to his owner.
This book was an interesting book and I liked it. I feel guilty when I say this, but it was totally worth it to borrow this book without returning it. I was supposed to return it, but I forgot.
