Despereaux

Hello, my name is Daisy and I read a book about a mouse titled "Despereaux". The author is named Kate DiCamillo., I really like her style of writing and I liked this book a lot, so I decided to write about it. I read lots of her books, such as Flora and Ulysses that I wrote about, last time in the wix blog. In most the books that she wrote, the stories seemed to always have a similarity from my life.

In this story, Despereaux, a little mouse gets born with a tiny body, humungus ears, and with it's eyes open. It's sisters and brothers disliked him a lot, and so did it's parents.. This was all because of it's unusual body. Despereaux couldn't argue on that either, because all of the words was true. One day, Despereaux decides to go to the library with its brother and sister. All of them were eating books, except Despereaux. It was 'talking' to the books(reading). As Despereaux read the story books, he started to understand the summary, and he got to notice the fact that a princess and a knite actually exists. Despereaux finally meets princess Pea, and falls in love right away.

Unfortunately, all of the mice in the mouse noticed this fact that the mouse, Despereaux contacted with a human- the king, he gets traped and got stuck with the RATS. When Despereaux heared this, he fainted in shock.

Well, fortunately, the human jail somehow connected with the mouse jail, where the rats live, and a jailer from the human world(?) cupped him in a bowl. He saved Despereaux from the rats, and in retern, Despereaux tells the jailer some of the stories it read.

Like this, they both become friends, and illustrates an adventure. I like this author because in her stories, they all have appropriate summeries and endings. I especially enjoyed this book, and I hope more people would like it...
