Diary of a Wimpy Kid

Hello, I am Chaewon Yi!!! At our house, there is a whole series of the " Diary of a Wimpy Kid ". The series is more than ten books. So this time, I read this book for the reading requirement progress to read 50 books this year. There is a story for how I read this book series. At first, I did not have any interest in this Wimpy Kid series. It seemed like it was very very boring and no fun. However, my big brother really enjoyed this book, but I didn't know why. However now, I get why my big brother loved this book so much. It's SUPER FUN!!! In the beginning, I read this book because I didn't have any book to read at Peai. So I was choosing a book, and then I found the Diary of a Wimpy Kid. I remembered that we had this series at home. So I opened the page, and started reading. As I said and explained, it was SO FUN!! It automatically made me laugh. I wanted to keep reading, but reading time soon ended. So I came home and continued reading this book.

This book is about a boy, who started a life of a middle schooler just now. But nothing worked out well for him. He was kind of an unfortunate kid. He had bad luck on every single thing he did. On the first day of school, he came into class and sat down on a random seat, surrounded by some kind of nerds. One nerd in front of him, and another at the back of his seat. But then, the teacher came in and said that this is their permenant seats. 'Oh no!!' Later, one nerd came in late and was about to sit at the right seat of him. But he lied that the seat was taken and barely stopped that from happening.

However, this was just the start of bad luck. He wished that he was surrounded by hot girls. He always tried to act like a gentlemen in front of girls, starting from elementary school. Though, that never worked out. He was only around the 52nd and 53rd most popular in middle school. He has a best friend named Rowley. But he was not much of a serious person. Plus, he was around the hundred and three for popularity. I think that he has a unique style to play only with him.

Have you ever try doing things to be popular? I haven't. Well... Maybe I have, but I don't remember. If you want to know the life of a middle school student, try reading this book. It will tell you a lot about their unique life. Also, the fun part is that you get to predict your future life. Predicting helps out a lot in your thinking and creativity. That's why we write down notes at reading time at Peai. It makes us learn much more. So again, you should try reading this book.
