Diary of a wimpy kid-the Getaway

Hello, my name is Lucas and I recently read (actually, about a month ago before I started Harry Potter) the latest book in the "diary of a wimpy kid" seris. This book starts in a normal winter day, where Greg was looking forward to christmas but, the Heffleys were getting behind on the decorating the house. Then, a commercial came up and his mom and dad were now willing to go to a place called 'Isla de Corales'. Greg tried to argue about that, but before he knew it, He now is on Isla de Corales. He had a good first look on this place, but he was starting to hate this place because there were animals all over this place and the food that they served made his dad have a stomachache. At the next day, Greg went to outdoor showers and found a spider on his slipper. After he went inside, he called the room service to help him get rid of it. They were able to cut off the leg and flush it down the toilet. Then, they decided to go to the banana boat. But, some fat kid landed in middle of the boat and punctured it then they went to the shore. Next day, they rented a boat for snorkling but, they didn't realize that they lift Rodrick, Greg's brother behind. Rodrick caught sun poisoning. Then, Manny cracked open the wrong suitcase to reveal the clothes they needed for the restaurent. But, some other family accused them for stealing. They were kicked out of the resort. At the last day, they returned to the Isla de Corales and got into a ton of trouble. Greg and the rest of the Hefflys got seperated and they got into the trouble at the private beach where people get to sunbathe naked. They left the resort quickly and went home.
