fine dust

Hi guys! I am yoochan and I am going to write my blog post about the one major thing that is causing problems in Korea. It is fine dust. So, what is fine dust anyway? It is a mixture of dust that is very small that you can’t see it, and polluted air that mixes into the normal air, making it polluted. One of the major causes of this is factories, cars, etc. As you know, these are one of the major causes of pollution. Fine dust also is made when we cook. According to a highly trusted website, when you bake something, it makes about 119 pm2.5. Also, when you fried something, it makes about 878pm2.5. Fine dust is harmful. The reason is because it harms our lungs, just like smoking does. Also, it develops cancer if you inhale too much of it. According to a strong source, in 2013, more than 47 people died from cancer developed from fine dust. This proves that fine dust is very harmful to us. One way to solve this problem is by using public transportation, like buses or subways instead of cars. Since a lot of people can use public transportation at the same time, it will be better than a bunch of air-polluting-cars.
