Hi guys! I am Chelsea and recently I read the second book of the Harry potter series. The title is 'Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets'. I also wrote a blog post about the first book too. Every time I read a Harry Potter book, it is so exciting and it makes you go in the book. The author of the series J.K. Rowling put very good details about the characters and the scene. So when you read it it is very easy to understand and picture it in your head. It really helps you keep going on the book and even though magic is not true it is easier to believe that there is magic. (only in the book!!!)
To tell you briefly about the book since I can not spoil (there might be people who did not read this book yet), it goes way back to when Hogwarts was built. 4 wizards who were Griffendor, Slyderin, Ravenclaw, and Hufflepuff were them.(might be a spelling mistake!) They became the names of each house. Anyway, Slytherin made a secret chamber and it was hidden somewhere in Hogwarts. People believed that it was only a myth, a story. Harry did not. Everything that happened and was found were the evidence. He finally found it and fought with Voldemort! Guess who won! Of course Harry did.
My favorite part was when Harry saved Ginny from Voldemort. Ginny is Harry's best friend Ron's little sister. (who marries him)(okay I will stop spoiling!) That looked really good. It was not even Harry or even Ginny's fault. When Harry did not save her, she must have dies.
This book was really funny. I really recommand it for you too. Also the author J.K.Rowing has a great style and quality of writing. It makes the reader go in the book and it was every small description about the scene and the character to make it easy to think and picture it in your head. Why would this be a best seller AND my favorite fantasy book. You SHOULD read it!
