Today, I went to HiKids, which is an english program in Seoul Forest. I was in the green team with my friends, Emily and Jiyoon. Emily, Jiyoon, and I meet every weekend and speak in english. We normally do it in Jiyoon's house, but this week was a little special. For this week, we went to Seoul Forest. I thought it will be 5th graders in small groups and didn't think further. Well, it was very different. When we went there, me and Emily were the only 5th graders in our team. At least the other kids were 4th graders, but I thought they were younger than that. The activities were kind of weird and we had to say "HiKids go!" or "HiKids pose!" and others. It was very embarrassing for me to say that. We also had to do HiKids pose or other poses in a station, and we got fake dollars for doing things. I thought this would be more advanced english class, but it was very easy like a kindergarten class. We had to talk about colors like blue, red, green, etc. We had to do this whoosh ball game, which is the most famous game in England according to the teacher from England. I didn't even know there was a game called whoosh ball. We had to do it with a invisible ball and say "Whoosh!", "Back!", etc. I didn't like these activities. The last game was the best out of these games. We had to buy power cards with the money that we had. We had four different kinds. Freeze card can freeze the other person for 5 seconds. Freeze melt card can make the freeze card useless. Life point card can give you two more lives, and guard card, which you can use to guard the flag. We each had two lives. We had to take off the life off of the other team, which is a peg. Eventually, our team won, which was a little exciting. I was relieved when we had to leave. After I came home, I told my mom that I will never go there again. My mom said she thought that it would be fun, and that's why she took me there. I felt a little sorry to her after hearing that, but my mind didn't change. I hope to never go there again.
