This book could feel like a fun fictional book but actually it shows a another face of humanity and
uncivilization.
In this book a group of boys were in a plane heading to a safe place but the plane got destroyed by enemies so the pilot(only adult) gets killed and the boys are on their own to survive in the island. The oldest oldest boy, Ralph blew a conch(seashell) to assemble everyone in the island. The boys decided to pick a chief and Ralph got the job. Jack the leader of the quier was upset with this decision Ralph liked him and he felt sorry for him. So he let Jack still be the leader of the quier and Jack decide that they should be hunters. Jack and Ralph had the most authority and Ralph called and assembly if he wanted to settle or talk about important things. They also made a fire on a mountains so if ships passed by they could see it but one day Jack messed things up. When he was on duty to let the fire keep going he went hunting. They killed a pig but there was a ship passing so Ralph got really mad and their relationship was getting bad. One evening while Sam and Eric were in duty to watch the fire there was a air battle going on so a dead pilot fell down from a plane and Sam and Eric rushed down to warn everyone. There was a expedition but the boys were to afraid so they ran away when they. Ralph said that Jacks hunters were boys holding sticks so they broke up. Meanwhile a pig head for the beast introuduced itself to Simon as the lord of the flies. The pig head said that the real beast was the potential growing in the boys. Simon found out that the beast was a dead human body but was killed because he was mistaken for the beast. When Ralph's tribe went to Jacks tribe to negotiate Jacks tribe killed Piggy and tortured Sam and Eric Ralph barley escaped before getting killed. The next day Jack put the entire mountain in fire just to kill Ralph. But the boys were rescued by a naval officer.
This book shows amusement and sorrow and I truly recommend this book.
