I watched 'Mamma Mia! 2' with my mom and dad at the movie theater. The basic content was about a girl named Sophie and her mother's memory of the past, of how Sophie got 3 fathers.
When Sophie's mother, Dona, graduated she left her friends, she was half scared, and half excited. What she thought was that a life was short and the world was wide. So, first she met a man called Harry. Really, she just met him with a big bang so I didn't find it really interesting. Next, she tried to ride a ferry to go somewhere and she missed it so a man called Bill offered her a ride on his boat. I found this part amusing. Why? The man selling the tickets was very funny. When Dona gave him her passport, he looked at her old photo and said, "You grown your hair long." and after Dona's short reply of impatience, he stamped her passport and said, "I liked it when it when it was short." All the people at their seats chuckled softly. Turned out that he said that kind of thing to every person. Dona and Bill had a very good time and Bill helped her land on Greece. Dona lived in an old house, and on a stormy night, she met Sophie's last father, Sam. Dona liked Sam, but Sam was already engaged, and he left. After, Dona's friends, Tanya and Rosy came. Dona recovered and went with Bill on a boat to go diving. Meanwhile, Tanya and Rosy were in the market, Rosy was talking about,"He left with another girl than me!" (Bill) "I need cake! There is a bakery that..." and Tanya spotted Sam. Sam was looking for Dona, regretting his decision of leaving her. An old woman said, "I know who your looking for" and after a few insults, she said, " If you say it, it goes like this. Ha!" Tanya was going: "Oh, I don't care if you are poor or not..." and Sam, with his hands in his pants pockets, walked up the stairs, ignoring her. The next part was funny. Tanya turned to Rosy and said, "Where was that bakery you talking about earlier?" and the people laughed again.
So back to the present. Sophie wanted to finish Dona's dream of turning the old house in to a hotel. After hardships, she succeeds and There is a happy ending.
This movie was a movie that combined a musical, a movie, and a comedy well. My 1 hour 54 minutes were never boring and it was a movie that made me laugh and smile. Also, this movie showed that being a grown up isn't an end. Rosy, who always cried when she heard Dona's name because Dona died, now accepts it. Tanya, who was just gay, now takes care of Sophie with responsibility. Sophie herself, who was just a little girl, now thinks about her responsibility of accomplishing her mother's dreams. I really~ recommend you this movie!!!!
