Hi, I’m Maureen. In fifth grade Greene and I are doing this after-school program. We do it on tuesdays, and we make things there.
In our first class, we made a cell phone rack. Then we made a mini candy machine. But on our third class, which was this Tuesday, we started making a leather purse we would make for 2~3 classes. They were all fun but the last one I did was probably the best.
A girl that lives in the apartment right below us (She’s my friend), Greene and I are the oldest ones there, so we were able to do the most work. But mine was the best, even though Greene did a little more than me, because Greene didn’t pull her thread enough. The girl I know and the younger kids didn’t do much so they didn’t even matter. And it was easier than I thought, even though we had to do a lot of sewing. And the holes for sewing was already made. The only problem was that the leather was thick, so it wasn’t that easy to poke in my needle.
I hope we can all finish our purses next Tuesday. We have to finish it ourselves if we don’t.
