We have a turtle that sister owns. There used to be two, but one died, due to its weak body. Anyway, for the last few months, the turtle was in a metal basin in the bathroom because it was cold in the living room. (we had the air conditioner at full blast, and the tank was right next to it.) It got fat, because the only exercise it did was turning around in circles in the basin. It needs a diet. When I went in to the bathroom, I always filled the basin with clean water again before I showered. However, one day my dad decided to buy a new filter for the tank. Our previous filters broke easily, about after 5,6 (?) months. It might be wrong, but my point is that it broke a lot. My dad was like he wasn't going do anything else until he found the right filter. Then, after a few days after, there came the filter. It was very, hmm... there were a lot of things to assemble. But we left that to dad. My mom washed the tank and my dad and I filled the water, and my sister put in the turtle, and the chemicals for the water to be appropriate for the turtle to live in. When the filter was turned on, it made a lot of noise, since water was pouring down in lines in to the tank. For example, when I came back from my swimming class, I thought mom was washing the dishes because of the filter's noise! Well, I think I'll have to get used to it. The turtle seems to be fine, and I wish it lives long until I become a high school student!
