The Giver

Hi guys!! I am yooch and I read this book called 'The Giver'. In this story, Jonas, a kid from the future, lives in a community where no colors, emotions exist. Nothing from the past whatsoever remains in this city. However, Jonas is sometimes able to see flashes of color. He doesn't know what it is. One day, Jonas gets made to be Recever of Memory. It is the most important job in the community. It holds all of the memories, all of them. The Giver, who is the trainer of the recever of memory. He can see all the color, and gives Jonas the memorys. The giver knows all of the things from the past. The memories contain lots of things.They are about boats, war, love, christmas, death, hunger, animals, sunsets, warfare, etc. One day, Jonas descovers that the release, is killing. So when he finds out that Gabrial, the toddler that he had been caring for, gets released, he immediately sets of running with the toddler. This book gave me the feeling like spiders crawling all over you. It was kind of creepy, but I liked it very much.
