Hi, today I am going to summarize the first book in the Missing series. The funny thing is that if you search up “the missing series” then, the first thing you will find is not this book that I’m about to summarise, you will find some random british analogy drama. Anyway, this book’s basic summary is this. Jonah, who is the main character, is a thirteen-year-old who is adopted. He lives with his parents who adopted him, and his sister who wasn’t adopted, katherine. The story starts out mysteriously enough, suddenly Jonah starts to receive strange letters that are sent to his house. Then, he realizes that his friend, named Chip (Yes, his name is the chip in potato chips), who is also adopted received these letters too. Then, they meet a lady named Angela DuPre, who has a tale about seeing a plane with 36 babies on board, minus pilot and copilot. There is a bit more to the story, but giving more information I think, would be a spoiler.
Anyway, my opinion to this book, like other books is really good. (obviously because I wouldn’t choose to summarise a book that I didn’t like on a blog). I think this book and probably the rest of the series is really fun. Although I have only read to book 6, meaning two books left till the end of the series, I think that the rest of the series will still be pretty fun. This book, is really packed with action, and there is almost no part without action, so if you like books with a lot of action and fun, I definitely recommend this book. But, if you like really boring books with very little action, sorry but this book is not for you because this book has almost no boring parts in it.
