Hello, this is Greene. I read a book called Welcome to the Bed & Biscuit. This book is about Grampa Bender and his pets running a pet care center called Bed and Biscuit. Ernest the pig, Milly the cat and Gabby the talking myna bird are the three of Grampa Bender’s favorite pets. These three animals help out with Grampa Bender’s work, especially Ernest. Ernest is very responsible, loyal and helpful.
One day, Grampa Bender brings a mysterious bundle with him that smells of smoke. All the animals were very interested in the bundle, but they start to get very jealous as Grampa Bender seemed to care a little too much about the bundle. Soon they find out that the bundle was a tiny puppy that Grampa Bender saved in a fire a couple of days ago. Milly, the youngest, got so jealous that she appeared to have run away with the puppy’s blanket. Ernest finds her with his amazing sense of smell and also finds out that the blanket was taken away by the giant crows that lived in nearby forests. He finds the blanket, too.
The puppy gets healthier, and Grampa Bender starts to pay more attention again to his former pets. The puppy is now named Sir Walter the Scottie.
This book was a really good book, and I wished for a pet once more as I read this book. I would also like to read the sequel of this book, Wild Times at the Bed &Biscuit and Magic at the Bed & Biscuit.
