why is a voyage to space hard?

A voyage to space is very hard to go and it takes a lot of money to make the transportation to go there. The transportation is named the space shuttle and it is used to go to space and come back to earth. But, this takes a lot of risk to go to space. Firstly, the space shuttle itself is dangerous. You can just think that the space shuttle is a moving explosive bomb that people is riding all the way to space. It is because the space shuttle is very explosive and can cause a lot of harms to the people's lives and to the economy. Why the economy? It takes more that 10 billion dollars to make the space shuttle and if that thing explodes, there would be a very big effect that will be caused to the economy. Mostly, the people that is riding in the space shuttle would die because of the explosion. But, why do we perform spacecraft? It is because our curiosity. We wanted to know more about the space and the world that is surrounding us again that is outside of earth.
