I watched a Japanese movie, 'Your Name.' Here is the plot:
Mitsuha Miyamizu is a country high school girl. She is bored with her country life and in her next life, she wants to be a handsome boy in Tokyo. After that, she intermittently begins switching bodies with Taki Tachibana, a high school boy that has a part time job in a Italian restaurant. After a while, they begin to communicate with each other by writing on their phones, paper, and sometimes on their selves. While Mitsuha helps Taki have a good relationship with his coworker, Miki and Taki helps Mitsuha become popular. Mitsuha's last note tells about the festival of seeing the comet that is falling toward Earth.
Next day, Taki tries to call Mitsuha but fails. The body switching stops, he can't remember about Mitsuha, and all his messages with her have disappeared. A restaurant owner recognizes the town that Mitsua lives, Itomori from a picture that Taki had drawn only with his memory, and tells him that the village was practically destroyed by a piece of comet that unexpectedly split into two and fell to the village. Taki finds Mitsuha's name in the records of fatalities and finds out that their timelines were separated by three years. Taki wakes up in Mitsuha's body at the day of the festival. He convinces Mitsuha's friends that the piece of comet is going to fall down and they make a plan to help the people escape the town before the comet crashes; but they fail. After that, they both wake up and remember nothing.
After five years, Taki is looking for a job and meets Mitsuha on a staircase. They feel like they know each other, and they ask each other's name.
I loved this movie and the ost. Look for it at youtube. Forgive me if there are too many holes in my blogpost. I couldn't quite understand the movie since there were so many switching in the movie. Try it, I'll leave the link of the ost!
