GRR... THE ULTIMATE LOSS!!!

Writer's picture: ryancho1838ryancho1838

ROAR!!! GRRR… HOW DARE… Sorry, excuse me. I HATE YANG EUI-GI!!! GRR… Oops! Sorry, again. I need to take a deep breath before I can deliver all this stuff. (inhale, exhale, inhale, exhale, inhale, exhale, whew…). Hmm, now I can speak.

Okay, here’s the news. You guys probably know it but, Korea’s men’s baseball team lost to Japan (I know! The shame…), AND America (lost 2 games in total!) so, we can’t go to the finals!!! We can’t get a gold medal like we did a lot of times!!! GRRRR… Hmph. At least we can get a bronze medal by winning against the Republic of Dominica. But a bronze medal is almost nothing! Well, of course, it is something, but it is much worse than winning Japan and all the other countries and proudly getting a gold medal! Hmph. I knew that failed double play in the match with Japan was one of the main reasons they lost.

Excuse me, let me breathe deeply, and calm myself before talking about the losses. First, losing the game with Japan. They lost, 2:5. Japan made the first point and then added another point. Thankfully, the Korean batters revived and made 2 points. It was a tie. Yay! But at the 8th inning when Japan was attacking, Ko Woo- GRRR.. sorry. Anyway, Ko Woo-Suk let Japan’s Yamada make 3 points! How dare he! I liked him, but from now on, I will not! He let the chance of us getting to the finals disappear into the deep, dark, darkness. So, yup. They lost. Sad. But there was a chance they could still get into the finals because of the loser’s semi-final. America made the first point, then another. Park Hae-Min made the first point for Korea. Yay! And there came the bottom of the 6th inning. Lee Eui-Li was replaced with Choi Won-Jun and he came to the mound. But he let a batter run to first base because of the ‘base on balls.’ Director Kim immediately put in the left arm pitcher Cha Woo-Chan. He sent a batter back to the dugout by a strikeout. But then Won Tae-In came. But he didn’t throw well. With one out, it was full base. Then the pitcher was changed to Cho Sang-Woo and the US suddenly got 5 points after a few more batters came up. Kim Jin-Ook had to hurriedly get the last out and end the inning. The score was now 1-7, Korea losing. The 9th inning. There were all pinch hitters, and they got two strikeouts, and one lined live out. And they lost, 2-7. Grr…

That was it. Korea, the country of strong baseball teams, was losing to both Japan and America and not being able to get any gold or silver medals as they did at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. They could only get the bronze medal, but they will have to WIN a game. Let’s still hope Korea gets at least a bronze medal…

There are three things I can do:

1. Hate Korea and pray for the Republic of Dominica during the bronze medal game.

2. Don’t pay attention to the bronze medal game.

3. Pray for Korea to at least win a bronze medal.

I think I am going to do number 3 and I believe Korea should change their director. Anyway, Korea, please get a bronze medal, at least!
