(Hi guys! So since we need to practice formal writing for the eval test, I guess we're skipping The Great Yellow Invasion & Obedience School this week! Thank you for reading this ^^!)
Sophie Plum loved the piano. When she wasn't eating, sleeping, or washing she always played it. She didn't care for any academies, so except for when she did school work, she always sat in front of the school's grand piano. And when she played the instrument, she did excellently. Sometimes the whole school would come around and sit underneath her chair as she struck the tunes. Sophie would go from a work-hating weirdo to a wide-famous kid pianist.
But even though Sophie was so talented and her life seemed perfect, she had one huge secret, that she had never told anyone. Not even her own parents. Her secret was that, Sophie was responsible for the death of a fellow student.
Amy Silver had been a good friend of Sophie's; they had played the piano together, they had hung out together, and they had been each other's only friend. Amy had been good at playing the piano too; her golden hair would bounce on her shoulders every time she gave a good, hard crash.
The problems had begun when the judges to a piano competition chose to give the gold prize to Amy. Things became awkward around Amy and Sophie during the continuing stage of giving out prizes, since Sophie's song had been a harder one; and things became even MORE awkward when Sophie didn't get ANY prizes at all. Still, they were still best friends at the time.
However, when Sophie heard a fellow comrade whispering about how she achieved no prizes at the contest, and that she was a no-good loser, her temper had got the best of her. She had pushed the girl down the stairs, breaking her leg; which unfortunately, Amy saw. Later that day, when they were playing the piano, Amy told Sophie that hurting someone like that was "Literally illegal", and threatened to tell the headmaster.
Overwhelmed by fear and anger, Sophie had pushed Amy; but she hadn't meant to push her against the metal fence, that secured the students from falling 23-storey high down to the ground. However, she DID do it, and her friend had died that way. Sophie had lied to the police officers when they came, that Amy had accidentally clanged her body full against the metal and fell; and bizarrely the police believed her, and just went on to dig out Amy's body. Sophie had been guilty after that whenever she saw the piano, but she was a selfish girl. She got over the shock quick, and moved on to be the best at the piano as she could.
One day, a very dark night, Sophie woke up from bed, a sudden strange magnetism starting to drag her somewhere. She tried to yell, but could not hear any sound come out of her mouth as she was dragged out of the door, out of the apartment, and arrived in front of the school. To her great surprise, she found herself climbing up the school wall, and jumping down lightly to the other end. Then she felt her feet taking her to the direction of the auditorium. She was pushed in front of the piano, and for a moment she stood there not knowing what to do.
'No,' she thought as she fingered the piano keys, 'I DO know what to do.'
She sat down almost willingly, and started to play the music that Amy had played a long long time ago at that very piano contest. It was supposed to be slow at first and then slowly turn faster. And so Sophie played it like that. And she found that no matter how she played it, her heart maintained the same tempo as the music, so that the faster she played, the more faster her breath came, and her heart beat.
Blood was pounding in her ears and a bead of sweat ran down her forehead the more she played. And then, she stopped. She saw a flash of gold skip past her vision, and felt eerie sounds coming from all around. She struggled to stand up, but could not. A dark tornado of chaos seemed to whirl around her, making the only thing she could hear the wind.
Then, it abrubtly came to a stop. Sophie sighed in relief, and glanced upwards.
She barely swallowed a scream.
A familiar pair of blue eyes met hers, piercing her skin. Blood-curled fingers reached towards her and grasped her shoulders.
"...Amy?"
(Thank you for reading this!)
Did you make it or you just got from some other people?
Please answer that questions but it is still a great story!
