'Bats should do what they want'
This is a sudden thought that came to me when I was reading "Gregor the overlander." In Gregor the overlander, as you know, appears to ride the bats as transportation systems. However, this isn't as wonderful as a fairy appearing and giving you 100000 wishes. I think that it is awkward and against the law of protecting bats. It is because first, bats are small. In fact, small like a new born baby's head. However, in this book, bats are gigantic and the underground humans ride the bats! Second, I think that it is against the law of protecting any living creature because of the severe laws of the underground. If a bat doesn't come to save you when you are dying, that bat should be banished and killed right away. This doesn't make sense at all because the bats, too have brains and they decide the right decisions. Therefore, I think that bats should do what they want to do because first, if they don't want to be a underground human's transportation system, they don't want to and second, bats have brains too, so they can make decisions that are right. However despite all my reasoning, the undergrounders think that the bats are as no emotion feelers as a non-living thing. Therefore, I think that the undergrounders are very unintelligent because they can't even guess what the bats think when they are used as transportation systems.
