February 24th, Wednesday, was my grandma’s birthday. Actually, her real birthday is January 13th, in Luna calendar, and it was February 24th. And in coincidence, it was the day that my grandpa died before I was even born. The start of the day was very normal and simple as what our family do every day. I go to school and except for my grandma, rest of my family goes to their business or school, as a teacher, not a student. After my school ended, I went to my house and did my homework for my week, which was normal as well. After I listened to my math academy and came back home, me and my mom went to my grandma’s house with my stuff, which her present was inside the bag, too.
Me and my aunt made a plan to make my grandma surprise. I was acting like I was having the ancestral rites, and secretly went out of the living room and went to my aunt’s room and my aunt was there, too. (Actually, my aunt and my grandma live together and they are the oldest people in our family.)
I prepared the present, and my aunt bought the card. I wrote my letter and sticked in on the present that my aunt and mom prepared. The problem is that my mom messed it up. Because the cake was made out of chocolate, it was melting, so my mom yelled the cake was melting, and my grandma heard it. Unfortunately, the cake surprise plan became bubbles. However, still, after the ancestral rites, I first went to the room and hided our presents under the dining table. It is because my grandma still did not know that we prepared her present. Surprising my grandma, after we ate our dinner, I gave mine and my mom’s and aunt’s.
My grandma loved it and it was a wonderful day!
