Mom's Birthday

February 9th, Tuesday, was my mom’s birthday. The start of that day was normal as usual. Dad goes to work, me and my brother wake up, eat breakfast, and do homework. Everything was normal, at least until around 3:00. I went into my room, saying that I will do my math homework. I shut my door, just to make sure nobody could see me. I peeked out and checked mom, and fortunately she seemed like she didn't think weirdly about me closing my room door. So I started making mom’s birthday present…

When it was 6:50, I wasn’t in front of my computer, even though it was Tuesday. Why? It was mom’s birthday, and I moved the PEAI class to Wednesday(make up class). My brother went to his math academy around 4:00 and came back with dad around 9:00(if my memory is correct). We started the party right after everybody(and the food) was ready. We ate, laughed, talked, and took pictures.

After the feast, we gave our presents to mom. My brother gave mom a letter and fake coupons he made such as washing dishes coupons. And what was mine? When my door was closed, I folded papers, following the guide book. I folded the paper into a heart shape, and inside it, I wrote a letter. I made coupons too, such as housework coupons, massage coupons, and fulfil wish coupons. Then I put them all inside an envelope which I made with paper and gave it to mom. My dad? He gave a picture of an expensive watch! A PICTURE! He printed it, cut it, and made the picture a little harder, and gave it to mom. Mom was angry and said something like “Why are you giving a picture?” and dad replied “It is a promise that I will once buy you this!” Mom tried to record that promise for evidence, and dad started to run away, and mom chased after him. My brother and I were laughing. How funny that was! At last mom caught him and finally got the promise and recorded it. Mom looked pleased.

It was a great day!
