Hello. I'm going to talk about an experience I had when I felt a serious 'dumbfounded.' Well, maybe dumbfounded isn't the word. It can be 'ridiculous,' OMG, or just a sarcastic laugh.
Let me start. We go back to 2019 when I was in America. My family and I went to New York. We went to Times Square, Central Park, and the very famous places. And, on the last day, we went to THE STATUE OF LIBERTY.
(Loud and booming noise like when kings show up.)
We were VERY excited. We only saw the Statue of Liberty in pictures or movies. Also, the part that made me thrilled was when my dad said that we were going to go inside the Statue of Liberty. And, we are going to the top of it to see the view of New York.
The guidebook told us that we can go inside the Statue of Liberty anytime we wanted to. But, it showed us the time when it finished. (Remember this) So, we waited and played in the free time we had. My family and I went to Ellis Island (an island beside the Statue of Liberty) and googled about the Statue of Liberty.
Then, we went to the Statue of Liberty. We went to the gate of the entrance (which leads to the inside of the Statue of Liberty) which was protected by 2 security guards. When we went up to the gate, the guards STOPPED US. We asked them why. And they said THAT THE TIME WAS OVER???!!
...
So, what did we learn? We learned to never be late for meetings or things like going to the Statue of Liberty. And, when unexpected things happen, don't make them happen. So.......bye.
