So, the story I’m going to tell you is a real-life story that really happened to me. And, I’m telling you this because this is a story that you have to hear. It doesn’t really have a lesson or a theme, but it is very interesting.
The situation was this. Me and my family were in Mexico, Cancun. Then we went to a park called ‘Xcaret’(you don’t have to remember the name). This is a park where there are lots of ‘not-artificial’ bodies of water. For example, caves. And, that’s where me and my family went to, cave.
When we were in the cave, we were totally scared. Inside the cave, there were only a few lamps on the wall, so it was pretty dark. And, because it was dark inside, we couldn’t see in or out of the water?! If I describe my feeling in more detail, I could feel hundreds of fishes and freshwater seaweeds swarming past my feet. And, that is definitely horrifying. Also, I didn’t bother to look inside the water because I thought it would cause a lot more fear.
When we swam to the end and reached the last spot, I suddenly felt regrets. In the last part of the cave, I looked in the water and saw fishes. And, underwater was not as bad as it looked like. I started to feel regrets about why I felt scared about crossing a cave. But, still, it was an extreme and interesting experience to me.
Wow! I also went to xenote, Mexico. I wrote it in the 3 amazing places in my last blog
