Well hello everyone! IAN HERE!
BTW, I have read the most recent blog post about “Our class Town.” Well, I thank and appreciate Savina for adding me in the story, and also because putting me as the messenger.
Ok, now moving on to my blog post-but guess what? I have already used a subordinating conjunction in the second statement regarding “Our class Town.” I boldfaced them as you can see, so ok, one conjunction done! Yippee!
So now I will really, really move on to my blog post. So today I will talk about the duty of a teacher. (specifically a school teacher) I kind of want to be a teacher, but I am quite frightened about the hardships of being a teacher.
Ok, so first of all, a school teacher’s responsibility is to teach basic knowledge. Going to academies is very obvious for us, but not for the leftovers. Many people cannot really go to academies because they don’t have much money, and live in rural areas. But for school you don’t need to pay money-it consists of tax. And school is not optional, you NEED to go there. So in school, you might as well think ‘Why is this soo easy?’ but the thing is, you are more forward than where you should be. School is for the whole citizens, so they should make basic knowledge so anyone can understand and learn it. And teachers have the duty to teach anyone no matter who you are, and get them to be smarter.
Second of all, a school teacher’s responsibility is to teach cooperation, tenacity , and mental health. So for academies, you just go and learn English..Math..History..Language Arts..and other stuff. But for school, it's not only for the subjects, but to learn the right tenacity, how you should think, behave etc. So that’s why we get a certain tenacity in education and cooperate with students. When they go into the real world, students need to be prepared to work with all kinds of people, teachers have the responsibility to help with that.
Third of all, a school teacher’s responsibility is to make children physically healthier. Such as P.E. School teachers need to know also about gymnastics to teach children about that, or maybe even demonstrate. Also, many children here always sit at desks, taking hundreds of millions of times to academies. School and the teacher’s duty is to male the students lively, stand up, and SHAKE IT! This would also consist of eye training, and also not going out if there is lots of fine dust, or smog.
Fourth of all, school teachers need great organizing and preparation skills. Do you want to go to school when the classroom is chaotic, the teacher’s desk is always a mess? Do you want to go to class when the teacher prepared NOTHING and was just mumbling? Of course not! Teachers need to organize schedules and classes so that children can do the accurate things, right at time. Also, they need preparation skills, so they would be effectively prepared to teach and educate the students.
Fifth of all, school teachers need great speaking/interaction skills. Do you want a teacher who whispers “hello, class, please open.?” NO! School teachers need good interaction skills so they could show some sympathy to sad children, or should speak clearly so that students could understand the classes. They should know what emotion/information to talk about in the right situation based on the classes and the students.
Sixth of all, school teachers need to be fair. I’m not saying that school teachers should be the same good to unruly bullies, but what I mean is this situation. So let's say today is exam day. And a student comes to the teacher, gives her a bag filled with golden jewelers, or a Chanel Bag, and then says, because I gave this to you, please give me a good score. But that is soo unfair-it can be because the student is rich. So school teachers shouldn’t accept these kinds of things, but be fair to everyone in his or her class, no matter if you have a lot of money or not. They should focus more on their students, not money.
Last but not least, a school teacher’s responsibility is to support the children better, and listen to them. School teachers should be caring to their students, and also be interested in them. School teachers need to help children when they have difficulties. When students tell that to their teachers, school teachers need to feel some kind of sympathy, or should try to help to make the children better or to get out a solution. Since school teachers are adults and they could have more abilities than children do, as a teacher, they should help the students to solve their conflicts, have better mental thoughts, and be happier overall.
In conclusion, I have talked about the school teacher’s responsibility. School is a little society, where we prepare people to fly to the real world. It’s as if the students are baby chicks and the teachers are chicken, preparing their babies to be well in their adulthood. It is as if teachers are equal to your mothers or fathers in school. For all of these reasons, I think people who want to be school teachers need to master all of these 7 traits. Thank you and see you later!
