Yesterday was the singing contest. There were 74 people in total and because of Corona, grade 1,2,3 went to the Saint Paul Room, and grade 4,5,6 went to the multi media room and sang the song in front of everyone in there including me. I was very nervous and as the other kids. Actually, one boy cried and his accompanist was busy finding his mother. It was better because it was the time 10 minutes before the contest started.
But the real nervous that I felt was because there were some children that was good at singing. However, I was almost the last one to sing, and those kids who were good at singing just brought a mild song while I was going up to mi.
I think that was why one of the judges was putting her hand on her chin while listening to our songs. But I was wondering why did she listening to my song with putting her hand on her chin. Only mine. I was curious but I had to show her a good manner, so I did not scream at her. After the contest, my teacher said that “There is no student that I remember except for you and one boy. I’d guess You’ll be the one that will sing in front of everyone since we don’t let boys sing usually in front of everyone.
I was worried that I will not be able to sing in front of everyone. However, the result came out today and I was the first place! I will sing the song in Saint Paul room in about October or November. I’m really expecting it for it! My mom and I planned to sing, and then change my clothes into orchestra and play the violin. In next year, I’ll be beating the drum for Korean dance show.
