Chapter 1: Wrong thoughts
Somewhere in the ancient times, all people were free to control their life. They did anything with their time. Everyone was happy, and did what they wanted. Some people would work, some people would play, some ones would spend time with their loved ones. The ancestors thought it would be all great to just take away the person's right to control their own lives. Wrong thoughts..
They created the timekeepers, to keep people's time. Everyone would live in order. Time keepers would control everything. It wasn’t allowed to control what you do. You must do what they say, and follow the rules. If not, punishments are harsh.
It’s useless to keep dreams anymore, since the Timekeepers choose everything for you. Nobody has dreams. Well, some people do… like me. I want to have a job that would let me be free. Maybe an artist, or a musician. Anything that does with freedom. Well, I keep them to myself, since everyone would think it’s only just so useless.
“Just keep a little bit of your dream to yourself, it may be useful!”
That was the last thing my mom said to me before she was taken away by the black people, just because she didn’t follow the time. Foolish foolish foolish.
( andddd Homeworke!)
Play ground
The dark green trees, that were about tall as the building, closed my sight of the apartment. The breeze passed by and there wasn't a lot of people except me and my friends. On the right, there were those a bit rusty Silver See-saws and 4 slides colored with bright red and dark blue, held by black structures. There was a ceiling to that. They were a bit dirty, and a bit scratched. The floor was made out of red and green rubber tiles.
( the end!)
Oh, and isn't it actually Prologue, not epilogue-epilogues are supposed to be at the end of the book :)
Good story-I look forward to chapter 2 of it!
