Last Sunday, I went to a high-quality violin contest. It was making me very nervous because our teacher said that in that contest, only students that want to be an expert violin volunteered. We were participating to reassure myself when I go to the school contest and feel this is nothing since this is more nervous. And think about our school’s students? They are nothing at all compared to this competition’s volunteers. When we were competitioning, the concour would randomly separate teams with ten people each with the same grade of students, so I saw the girl that did the first-place in another famous concour. When she listened to my performance she kind of glared at me looking like she’s thinking ‘what’s that girl? She’s terrible compared to me.’ Still, I ignored her too. However, I think I did a great job not getting wrong.
Also, when I went there, there was the thing that I was very nervous about, but my foot hurt. I wore new shoes and it didn’t match well so it hurt a lot. I almost yelled during the performance but I did not yell so loud that the judge was not able to notice. (It was raining so my socks were wet.)
After this concour, I’m confident that I will do a great job.
