So, blog time. Woo-hoo. I’ve been lately willingly (read forced) working on a science project back in school, which required some exciting (read stressful) research. On the way, I found some pretty cool info, well, at least to me, and I want to share it with you, the blog readers.
The cool info I got is the answer to this question; Which planet is Earth the closest to?
Frankly, all planets orbit around the sun, so it is hard to give an accurate answer. So the question the mostest closest planet to Earth would give the most possible answer. You may expect Venus or Mars, which, surprise surprise, is wrong. Which is odd… Although all planets orbit, most science classes show pictures of the lined up planets, where Earth is between Venus and Mars. Well, guess what? Those pictures are LIES! Not entirely though. The orbits again make the pictures inaccurate, so the pictures in science class are just more of a label on the planets closest to the sun. So, are you ready for the answer to the question, which planet is the mostest closest to Earth? The answer is Mercury! Why? Well, mercury has the smallest orbit, for it is the closest to the sun. So, the average distance between Earth and Mercury is small despite other planets. When planets orbit, they sometimes get really close or really far from each other, making average distances high. For this reason, Mercury is the mostest closest to all the planets in our solar system.
So, in the end, Mercury is the cool dude in the planet club
