To start off, Halloween is NOT my favorite holiday. At least not anymore. And BESIDES, even if it was, i wouldn't enjoy it because in Korea, not that many people celebrate Halloween. And YES,YES tomorrow is Halloween, but i am NOT looking forward to it.
Ever since I moved here from the states, we didn’t even think to celebrate Halloween. And since no one does it, my mom was lazy to not do it anymore because well, we didn’t HAVE to. Back in Houston,(that is where i grew up) we used to put up spooky decorations everywhere and put skeletons outside the house. But now, we don’t do that anymore. ToT literally EACH HALLOWEEN. And then at night, we used to go trick or treating all the time with friends. (even though it rained every time) and when we were back home and it was like 10 o'clock at night, we would see how much candy we got and I would trade some with my sister. That was fun…… (*sigh*) but there is no more Halloween!
But when i started to go to peai, things started to look up. Last year, I wore my vampire costume and went to peai. We went knocking on other teachers' doors and said,”trick of treat!” but this year, i’m more bummed out about Halloween. We are doing the Halloween party through ZOOM. THROUGH ZOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHO DOES THAT???!!! And it’s totally not fair. Other grades get to GO to peai and do the Halloween party. Why 5th graders??? What’s wrong with us!!!!!!!???????We are the EINSTEINS!!! The BEST class! We deserve a REAL Halloween party!!!!
Well, anyway, this was my blog post. So you guys, DON’T depend on Halloween. And I REALLY am looking forward to Christmas.
is it only me tht this post sounds like joyce not emma?
