Harry Potter rocks. Not to mention it’s brilliance showed in the movies as well. The action, the drama and the emotion all turned from a long string of words to several houred, 8 films that came out between 2001 and 2011. Yet there are some extraordinary secrets hidden between the scenes. And here are some of them.
Hermione’s teeth
The book talks about Hermione’s gigantic front teeth. Yet when people see the movies, however, it is easy to notice that the actor of Hermione, Emma Watson, isn’t having such big teeth in her mouth. Actually, in the first movie, Emma was wearing fake big teeth… Temporarily during the one scene where Hermione, Harry and Ron meet each other for the first time in the train to Hogwart. The teeth weren't used later though, because it was too hard to talk in those. Additionally, Emma was wearing another pair of fake teeth because one of her teeth fell off, so for the rest of the movies, Emma remained normal-teethed.
Quidditch badge
Again, in the first movie, there is a scene where the 3 kids, Ron, Harry and Hermione watch a golden seeker badge Harry’s dad got from playing quidditch after their very first game. With careful observation, it is possible to spot that a golden badge besides it in the glass one of the honorary badges belongs to professor McGonagall!
Harry’s eyes
The book says that Harry has green eyes that imitated his mother’s. However, the actor of Harry, Daniel Radcliff, had brown eyes in real life. Lenses were too painful, so during the movies, Harry remains brown-eyed, while the actress who played Harry’s mother, who comes up from time to time has brown eyes as well. In one scene in the scenes of the first movie, Harry is departing from Hogwart and looks up at Hagrid and hugs him for one last time before going on the trian. (Aww~) During that scene, Harry’s eyes were shown a lot, and so the directors used lenses to change his eye color. In the end, during that particular scene, Harry’s eyes become blue. Not even green!
