Today while I was in serious need to do my homework, I wanted to watch movies too. So I decided I would do something called multi tasking. A few minutes after my research I found out that multitasking helps with organization, prioritization and scheduling. And so I tried it with my math homework. But the problem was that it didn’t work at all. I was so distracted by the movie that I couldn’t focus on my homework so I couldn’t finish a lot of work. But later on I researched that multitasking was just a myth. One sentence they said was “ people who think that they can split their attention between multitasking at once aren’t actually getting more done.” And so for that I think that is right. Whenever I do something by multi-tasking, I always get distracted. One of the reasons is that multitasking is basically the same thing with its goal shifting. You should stick to one goal with one and not get confused with different goals because you can’t really focus. Therefore I believe that multitasking is just a myth because you can’t focus on one goal. People who think that multitasking is real shouldn’t believe that and just focus on one goal at a time.
