Once upon a time, there was a boy named Nerd. Nerd hated studying. Nerd`s parents made him do 30 books of math, and 46 books of science, 53 books of english, and 14 books on books on reviews every day. Apart from that, he went to 40 academies. He spent his time working on books that university students do, even though he was an elementary 1st- grader. He was always stressed and he never even touched a toy in his life! He longed for a day of freedom. But sadly, as he grew up, his work only increased. He was so stressed, one day he ran away. His parents found him a month later. His body was cold, his eyes were closed, and in his hand was a small note that said: Dear, everyone, I hope that this message reached you. I hope my sacrifice will save lives. Please follow my requests: the reason I ran away was because I was stressed. I hope I can deliver this myself, but in case I can not make it: please let the children have more freedom. Let them rest, and let them have time to play. Please allow them to own toys. I am sorry I ran away. Please forgive me and follow my last request. And in case I do not make it, I will let you know I will rest in peace. Sincerely, Nerd. His parents desperately tried to revive him, but he never opened his eyes again. Buried with him was a stack of toys, so that he could play with them in the underworld.
This tragic story is an exaggerated version of what is happening in this world. Children like Nerd are constantly stressed. Though many parents believe that the more study the better, this over-studying leads to unhealthy levels of work. Though people have gone out of their way to write books about “studying was the easiest '', no offense or anything, but STUDYING IS NOT EASY!!!I can not stress this enough! Just the sheer size of the studying we need to do to survive on our own is exhausting. SO PLEASE, CUT US SOME SLACK! I also can not stress this enough! Children, are suffering! Thank you
